I have waited to see what Jasey would eventually settle as my name: I've referred to myself as Grammy and as Maw Maw; but she seems to call me GAMMY, so GAMMY it is. Every older person should have a little one who loves them. It makes everything okay, really! We keep her most Saturday afternoon/nights to allow Kelley some quality adult time. Something she never gets. Jasey goes to the Y with her, and most mommies who work get some time away from parenthood while they are working.
Here are a few shots of her taken recently. We bought a family pass at the Burlington City Park and Kelley and Jasey (and Gammy) have made great use of it. Jasey has really enjoyed riding things after she and mommy leave from work each day.
We usually take her to church with us on Sunday and she loves collecting change for Naomi's Heart Mission.

Baw Paw Mark
We are so fortunate to have a man in our lives who is without a doubt, the most wonderful thing God ever sent my way. Mark is so good to my kids and now to Jasey. He never had children in his first marriage and definitely not with me (I was 50 when we married) ; so Jasey has been his first experience with a child from infancy on up for him. He's rocked her, sang to her, changed her diapers, helped with the bath - just typical daddy/grandfather chores. He has been working these past few weeks in his spare time on a swing/slide combination for her. I hope we have many years of fun to come. Jasey loves her Baw Paw, she jumps out of the car seat and is heading his way with a hug each time she comes to see us. Here is what he has completed to date; the swing part will be added next. I'm ready to get out my sleeping bag and camp out with her on the upstairs part.

Preparing for Easter 2011
You are sitting on your Easter eggs. You loved the egg hunt at Cedar rock Park and at church last year. Can't wait to see what you do this time.
To The Graham Park March 2011
Me, you, Baw Paw & Mason took a trip to the Graham Park. We had a great time.
Play Ball......you loved running around....
Warm Day in February 2011
We had a really warm day and you wanted to play in the front yard. Here you are on the steps, looking at Grammy's camera case. I love this picture of you. It looks like the old days!
Cutting your eyes - SAY WHAT?
My new red ball!
Coloring Before Church Sunday February 2011
We take you to church on Sundays and you usually eat breakfast with us before we go. You love to color now. Here you are at the table (like the big girl you are!). I'm thankful that my parents took me to church when I was a little girl Jasey. It is the foundation that builds strong people!
The kids (YOU TOO) collect change from the congregation each week and then I count the change and carry it to the bank. We send kids to school in the Philippines with this money. We have relatives in the Philippines, which makes this even more special to me. You love to do this and you run up and down the aisle collecting coins from people.
Time to put the crayons away.
You and Baw Paw are getting ready to go.
WE LOVE YOU, JASEY!
Thank You My Friend Gina & Sweets For My Sweet
My friend, Gina, told me there are ways to turn blogs into books. I'm so appreciative to learn that. It inspires me to keep going with this. At 60, I've seen a lot of changes in things and I was afraid that by the time you got old enough to read this, it would be long gone. But NOPE, I can print it into a book - isn't it wonderful how modern technology still can rely on printed matter!!! Even though I'm old, there will still be a use for me too. Whoo Hoo!!!
It's chocolate popsicle time!!! You definitely are MY granddaughter.

Yummy, yummy!!!
Just had to add this one in. I bought you a chair for your room at home and Mason thought it was for him. We couldn't keep him out of it. Had to put it on the bed until you took it home so it wouldn't have Mason hair on it.
WE LOVE YOU MISS JASEY!
Sweet Sleep! January 2011
About once a week, you will spend the night with Baw Paw and me. It gives Mommy a chance to do some things for herself. You go to work with her every day and when you get older you will understand about "me" time. One has to have it in order to maintain sanity. Here you are in your bed at our house, sleeping. I could watch you for yours, even still!
January 2011 - preparing for Valentine's Day
Photos of You - January 2011
I love taking pictures of you....I printed every one I took for about the first six months and then I realized if I kept this up, Baw Paw and me would have to move to a bigger house or rent a storage unit. Here you are January 2011 at the front door. You love to squeeze yourself between the storm door and wood door. Open and close it! Fun, fun!
This one is my favorite...well....they are all my favorites!
HUGS are BEST!
Your 2 Year Check-Up
It is difficult to believe you are now a 2 year old. There aren't enough words to tell you how much joy you have brought to our lives Jasey. If you don't remember anything else....just remember that YOU are SO LOVED! I went with Mommy and you to your 2 year check-up. You like to go the doctor - they have suckers. Here are some candids of your visit. You are a healthy, happy little girl. Tall for your age, but then both your Mommy and Aunt Wendy were too - then they stopped growing. So even though you are tall now; I imagine you won't be as an adult. (unless you decide to take after Grammy Sue).

Some Candid Shots of You
You grow in leaps and bounds. You are learning the quickest now that you ever will in your life. You are putting words into sentences and you love music!
I don't understand how someone can have a child and then miss out on their life...but then I don't understand a lot of things and some are better left in God's wisdom.
We had snow two separate occasions that we were able to get out the old sled and Baw Paw and you played. You didn't want to come inside. You're an outdoor girl to the limit!

You and Mason are best buddies although Mason is a tad bit jealous of you. This is one of those rare times, when you finally stop long enough to go to sleep. My two favorite little ones sharing a sleep spot.
Baw Paw is the Male Role Figure in your life and there could not be a better one. You watch carefully everything that he does and then you attempt. You love him and he loves you, unconditionally.

Graham Parade 2010 - Our Front Yard
The last years we have watched the Graham Christmas Parade from our front porch or street in front of our house. This year, Kelley invited a friend who also is a single parent with a little boy (Jeremy & Jackson) to join us - so we had snacks, hot cocoa and enjoyed the show. Jasey - is it 2010 so you are not quite 2 yet. But you know what a parade is - they give out suckers and candy and you don't get much of that....so you are very happy to be there. Here we all are - you, Mommy & Mason, Jeremy & Jackson, Baw Paw Mark, Grammy Sue and Aunt Wee. The man in the picture with Aunt Wee Wee is her Daddy, C. B. who was in the parade and just stopped by to say hello to her.

Haven't Written In A While
Jasey
I haven't written in this blog in a while, not because I don't think you are the most important thing there is but rather because I'd rather spend my time playing with you than writing what happens. I don't know that this even be here when you are old enough to understand.
You turned 2 in March and you had a Abby Cadabby party with lots of family and friends there. Aunt Bug made you two beautiful birthday cakes. You played and played with your little friends in a Sesame Street House made by Grammy.
